Best Web Magazine Sites Today
If you’ve got internet service at home you may find yourself working more than you want. If you can’t pull yourself away from the web you might as well enrich your brain while you’re doing it. Here are a few of our favorite online magazine sites to waste time on:
1. The Huffington Post: It was recently bought by AOL but HuffPo has weathered more than a little ownership change in its day. With news and articles on everything from divorce to food to politics you can spend all day trolling the archives.
2. The Daily Beast: There’s a lot going on at the Beast but if you’re interested in what’s on the front page right now, this is your site. With emphasis on politics and fashion (an odd combination) there’s a lot to learn here.
3. Slate: Slate has some of the more interesting, challenging articles and photo-montages of any site on the web and it’s totally interactive, too. If you’re looking for thinking pieces that don’t take an hour to read, head here each morning to check out what’s new.
